Through my friend YS, I was able to attend the launch of the new Nikon D600 full-frame DSLR together with David. During the launch, Nikon also launched the 18.5mm f/1.8 lens for their Nikon 1 series cameras as well as the UT-1 transmitter which adds ethernet capability to the Nikon D600, D7000 and D800/800E.

Oh, and I also won the Nikon 1 V1 camera during the lucky draw at the launch! I’ve never been so lucky. Now I have a mirrorless camera to play with. 🙂
