On this day, the waters aren&#8217;t as still as one of my <a title=\"Early Morning Shoot at the Esplanade\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ckphoto.net\/blog\/2010\/05\/early-morning-shoot-at-the-esplanade\">earlier<\/a> <a title=\"Early Morning Shoot at Merlion Park\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ckphoto.net\/blog\/2010\/06\/early-morning-shoot-at-merlion-park\">shoots<\/a>, but it&#8217;s still a reasonably good time to shoot the Marina Bay Sands and the skyline as the water is still calmer compared to the evening.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5149\/5606140110_82d7538c55_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"429\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Singapore Skyline at Dawn<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Marina Bay Sands is now more or less complete, so I am now able to get a shot of it with less of\u00a0 the cranes and other construction equipment. However, the lotus-shaped ArtScience Musuem somehow isn&#8217;t lit today. From my past experience shooting it, it appears that the Marina Bay Sands is nicer looking at twilight compared to daylight, when it starts to look rather drab.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5309\/5606139816_94c5b01108_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"429\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Marina Bay Sands at Dawn<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Soon enough, the sun started to rise behind the Singapore Flyer.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 429px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4100\/5605556941_510f444e4f_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"429\" height=\"640\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The sun rises behind the Singapore Flyer, currently the world&#39;s tallest observation wheel.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>And finally, the sun rose high enough to bath the Singapore skyline with its warm, golden rays of light. The iconic Merlion is currently part of an art installation known as the Merlion Hotel, seen as a red &#8220;box&#8221; in the middle of the photo below.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5186\/5605557859_388f5f6585_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"429\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Singapore skyline in the morning<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It&#8217;s almost the end of the shoot and we packed up to have breakfast. Along the way, I saw the reflection of the skyline on the reflecting pool in front of the Esplanade and took a shot. I simply held my camera above the pool and took a low-angle shot.
